Summer Financial Aid
While most financial aid is awarded for Fall (September-December) and Winter (January-April) terms, financial aid is available to students during Summer term (May-August) as well.
If you plan to take courses over the summer, you may be able to receive some financial aid to offset the costs.
Summer awarding is based on a first-come, first-served basis; therefore, it is important to get all required information submitted as soon as possible. The FAFSA from the current aid year must be on file in order to determine your financial aid eligibility.
If you want to be considered for Summer financial aid, you must be in a degree-seeking program at Eastern Michigan University and meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
