Scholarships for Transfer Students Admitted for Fall 2008
- Award amount of $3,000 per year. Award may be received a maximum of three years, depending on entering class level.
- Minimum requirements for consideration include a 3.7 cumulative transfer grade point average(GPA) and 30 transferable credit hours.
- Requires 15 credit hours of enrollment per semester for payment and a 3.5 EMU GPA to renew.
- New transfer students who are admitted by May 15th for fall and November 15th for winter are automatically considered through their admission application.

- Requires 12 credit hours of enrollment per semester for payment and a 3.3 EMU GPA to renew.
- New transfer students who are admitted by May 15th for fall and November 15th for winter are automatically considered through their admission application.
- One time award of $1,000 for full-time enrolled students.
- Part-time students receive a prorated award. Minimum requirements for consideration include a 3. cumulative transfer grade point average(GPA) and 30 transferable credit hours.
- New transfer students who are admitted by May 15th for fall and November 15th for winter are automatically considered through their admission application. Students must be enrolled in 12 credits to be eligible for the full award. The award will be prorated for 1/2 and 3/4 enrollment.
- Award of $1,000 for full-time enrolled students.
- Award based on volunteer commitments and Service to EMU and community. Preference to student leaders in Housing.
- Award amount of $1,000. Recipients of Regents, Recognition of Excellence, Transfer Scholarship, or Leader Award who live in EMU Residence Halls are eligible for this award.
- Special awards are mane by the academic departments based on talent and performance in music, forensics or theatre. Auditions and portfolios may be requested. Students are encouraged to contact the departments of Music or Communication and Theatre Arts for more information.

Students who begin their enrollment in the winter may complete a Winter Admit University Scholarship Application, available each February with a deadline of the last business day in April, for scholarships for the following fall. For more information contact the financial aid office , 734.487.3442.
