A BUSINESS SPARK: Representatives from Eastern Michigan University, the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor SPARK met at the SPARK East Business Incubator in downtown Ypsilanti March 6 to discuss ways the three organizations can work closely to spur job creation in Washtenaw County. Eastern Michigan is the lead funder for the SPARK East Incubator project, which opened its doors earlier this month. Four start-up companies have already signed lease agreements with SPARK East. Several other firms are expected to follow.
