Angels in America

DANCES WITH DREAMS: Harper, played by Canton senior Sarah Szydlowski, is a young Mormon wife who escapes her troubles through the use of valium. Mr. Lies, played by Detroit junior Jessejames Collins, her "travel agent" and "friend," is a product of her drug-induced hallucinations. The scene is from "Angels in America," which depicts moral decay in late 1980s America and introduces a group of New Yorkers wrestling with love and loyalty, life and death, religion and morality, and politics and integrity. The EMU Theatre production, performed in two parts, continues its run through April 5. "Millenium Approaches" has performances scheduled March 28, 2 p.m.; March 29, 3 p.m.; and April 2, 7 p.m. "Perestroika" will be performed March 26-28 and April 3-4, 7 p.m.; and April 5, 3 p.m., Quirk Theatre. Tickets are $15 for the general public, $12 for students and $6 for mainstage members. For tickets, call 487-2282.
