SEASON OPENER: Redshirt junior wide receiver Trey Hunter pulls down a touchdown pass from quarterback Andy Schmitt. It was Eastern Michigan University's first score of the season and drew the Eagles within 13-7 of Army with 13:58 left in the third quarter. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough as the Eagles lost their season opener to Army 27-14 before a crowd of nearly 15,000 at Rynearson Stadium Sept. 5. The game marked the first under new head coach Ron English.
