HOODOO WEDDING: (above, from left) Orlandus (played by Battle Creek senior Brian Carbine) and Euralie (played by Grand Blanc sophomore Krissi Hardy) are married by "hoodoo man" Baron. Baron (played by Richard Wright, a graduate student from Georgia) has raised both from the dead during a scene from EMU Theatre's production of "Blackwater Ballad." The production is based on the story of Orpheus and Eurydice, and is set in the bayous of New Orleans during the 1930s. Blackwater Ballad was performed Nov. 7-8 in Sponberg Theatre.
