$44,700 to 12 new Eastern Michigan University faculty for
research and creative projects under the Provost's Research
Award for New Faculty program for 2009.

awards to carry out carefully designed research or creative
projects. Faculty in their first or second year of employment
may be awarded up to $5,000. University awards are supplemented
