Sophomore Nikole Viltz appears to float
in mid-air during her balance-beam routine
during the Eagles' gymnastics home opener
against Bowling Green State University
Feb. 1. In the event, Viltz, of Hawtorn
Woods, Ill., scored a 9.7775, the same
as teammate Maureen Moss, a senior from
Gurnee, Ill. Their efforts helped EMU
defeat the Falcons by a score of 192.925-190.050.
The Eagles are now 2-1 overall and in
the Mid-American Conference.
