The Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team clinched a tie (with Ball State University) for winner of the Mid-American Conference West Division title when it defeated Central Michigan University 73-65 at the Convocation Center March 7. The Eagles (pictured below, celebrating their division title) received a first-round bye in the MAC Tournament, which takes place at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. They will play March 11 at 3 p.m. and will face the winner of the Ohio University-Central Michigan game.
