Colleen Russell cuts down nets

WINNERS OF THE WEST: Colleen Russell, center on the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team, cuts down a portion of the net after the Eagles clinched a share of the Mid-American Conference West Division title March 5. The Eagles defeated Central Michigan University 73-65 at the Convocation Center. The win gave them a 11-5 MAC record to tie for the title with Ball State. The Eagles are 17-11 overall heading into the MAC Tournament as a #2 seed. Head Coach AnnMarie Gilbert became only the fourth coach in conference history to win a MAC title in her first season.
