FOUNTAIN
SCHOLARSHIP: Longtime
EMU sports announcer John Fountain was honored
at a retirement party at the Washtenaw Country
Club March 12. Fountain was the "voice
of EMU athletics" since 1963. For his
efforts, the Detroit Sports Broadcasters
Association presented Fountain a $1,000 check
toward the Clarence and Courtney S. Fountain
Sportscaster Scholarship. From left, Association
