Musician/vocalist Judy
Piazza will perform a benefit concert featuring unique drums from around the world, native flutes, didgeridoos, an alternative dulcimer and vocals, Monday,
March 26, 7:30 p.m., EMU's Sponberg Theatre.
Piazza, recognized in the U.S. and
abroad for her work with rhythm, voice
and sound, weaves vocals with drum
making for a melodic and lyrical evening.
You are invited to bring your own
drum or rhythm instrument and join
in the closing circle at the concert's
finale. Prior to the concert, Piazza
will conduct a master class for EMU
music students.
Although the concert
is free, donations will be accepted.
All proceeds from the concert will
go to SOS Community Services, which
provides services for homeless families
in Washtenaw County. For information,
