FEATHERED FRIEND: Children and parents are fascinated as they watch a two-year-old American bald eagle spread its wings during the Scoop on Swoop event at the Student Center March 29. Francie Krawcke, from the Leslie Science and Nature Center in Ann Arbor, displays the eagle during her raptor talk. Guests also had the opportunity to view an American kestrel, owl and a peregrine falcon up close. And, of course, EMU's eagle mascot, Swoop, made a visit. Alumni Relations and Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) hosted the community event.
