Seventeen Eastern Michigan University faculty have been
awarded sabbatical leaves for the 2009-2010 academic year.
Sabbatical leaves may be taken for many purposes, such
as research, program development, professional development,
community service and artistic, scholarly or creative activities.
Awardees are granted a one-semester leave at full pay or
a two-semester leave at half pay.
