Fifth Third Bank check

CHECK PRESENTATION: Byna Ellott (above middle), senior vice president, Fifth Third Bank, community development, presents a replica of a $100,000 check to (above from left) David Mielke, dean of Eastern Michigan University's College of Business, and Don Loppnow, EMU's provost and executive vice president April 9. The university recently received the $100,000 grant from the Charles E. Schell Trust, Fifth Third Bank, Trustee. The grant will be used to start a no-interest student loan program in the College of Business, providing between 16 and 25 students with financial assistance for their study abroad experience.
