Eastern Michigan University and the EMU chapter of the
American Association of University Professors (AAUP) have
reached a tentative agreement in their contract negotiations.
"I am very pleased that EMU and the AAUP have reached
a tentative agreement," said EMU President John Fallon. "This
demonstrates the tremendous commitment that both groups
have to our students."
As a courtesy to the AAUP, details of the tentative agreement
will not be released until the faculty union has had the
opportunity to inform its membership.
