DOWNING
FRESH: Following
up on last year's renovation of Buell Hall,
one of this summer's major campus projects
is the renovation of Downing Hall. (Above)
Charles Pawlowski, from Arrow Acoustical,
nails drywall framing to the ceiling
in the residence hall. The plan is to
renovate the rooms, the bathrooms, the
lobby and common areas; and to add new
furniture, new carpet and a new fire
alarm and suppression system. Work will
be completed before students move in
for the fall 2006 semester.
