The Eastern Michigan University Board of Regents granted
promotions for three lecturers at its regular meeting June
19.
Lecturers are eligible to apply for promotion with the
following schedule of years or service in rank: Lecturer
II is three years and Lecturer III, four years. Lecturers
also are promoted based on specific performance standards,
which have been defined in his/her respective department
evaluation document.
Lecturers who were promoted are:
Mark Whitters, of Chelsea, Mich., lecturer II, history
and philosophy;
Rocky Sulfridge, of Ypsilanti, lecturer II, communication
and theatre arts;
Jennifer Hatten-Fisher, of Allen Park, Mich., lecturer
II, sociology, anthropology and criminology.
