GOOAAL!: Eastern Michigan University soccer players Ashley Rodrigues and Katie Zundel (above, from left) are congratulated by their teammates after Zundel passed the ball to Rodrigues who, in turn, scored. The goal cut the deficit to 2-1 against the University of Michigan. The Eagles eventually tied the Wolverines, 2-2, in their season opener at Scicluna Field Aug. 24. It was the first time the two schools had played since 2002 and the first time EMU had not lost to Michigan in the six times the two universities have met in soccer.
