As part of its compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act,
Eastern Michigan University has put together a 16-point
safety and security plan for campus. The plan was updated
Aug. 16.
Components of the plan, which administrator is spearheading
a particular component and a targeted completion date are
as follows:
- Assign the oversight responsibility for Department
of Public Safety (DPS) to the vice president for business
and finance. This reporting relationship is more closely
aligned with best practices in higher education today.
