Ronald R. Reed, an EMU alumnus, recently was elected to
the Eastern Michigan University Foundation Board of Trustees
for a three-year term. He serves as a volunteer.

Reed received his bachelor's degree in physics from EMU
in 1986. He is managing director with Seneca Partners,
an investment banking and venture capital firm affiliated
with Seneca Health Partners. Formerly, Reed was a partner
at Endeavor Capital in New York and led several investments
for the firm in the Midwest and West Coast. He is a venture
partner of Silicon Alley Venture Partners in New York and
serves on the boards of NWP Services Co., Biotronic 7th
Online and the Michigan Venture Capital Association, where
he chairs the legislative committee. He resides in Ann
Arbor.
The EMU Foundation is a private, nonprofit corporation
that increases private support and manages endowment assets
for the benefit of Eastern Michigan University.
