OLD FRIENDS: (from left) Eastern Michigan University Head Basketball Coach Charles E. Ramsey and University of California Head Basketball Coach Ben Braun reunite before the Nov. 18 game at the Convocation Center. Braun, the winningest basketball coach in EMU history with 185 victories, exchanges a few words with Ramsey, who formerly was an assistant coach under Braun. Prior to the game, Braun was inducted into EMU's E-Club Athletic Hall of Fame. However, when game time came, the pupil topped the mentor, as EMU squeaked by the Golden Bears 67-65.
