CAMPUS SPAN: The 11-ton, steel truss bridge that connects the new student center to campus was installed Dec 2. The bridge, which will include a 5 1/2-inch concrete deck, is 68 feet long and 13 feet wide. The bridge, anchored to two concrete abutments, spans the Owen 66-inch storm drain and creates a straight north/south pathway connecting the new student center with the Parking Structure, Halle Library and Mark Jefferson.
