Comment:
Andrew has chosen not to submit a statement or bio for this site. He says, with genuine modesty, "I don't have much to say for myself. I don't know why I'm in the show in the first place." While it's true that his focus has been on the study of philosophy for the past three decades, his contribution to the art scene and dialogue of the late 60's and early 70's is immeasurable. Seeing PLOW, SKID, DRAG again has reminded me of how much that work meant to my own development as an artist and to the works that I was to produce later. I cannot think of this exhibition without Andrew Lugg's representation.
