What is Fusion: New Student Orientation?
Fusion: New Student Orientation is a two-part program designed to introduce incoming freshmen to life at EMU and take care of the business of starting your EMU career. Fusion begins in the spring with a one-day Fast Track session and continues in September with First Four, starting with move-in on Saturday, September 4 and concluding with the start of classes Wednesday, September 8.
Register Now! Registering for Fusion is the official way to notify us that you’ve decided to attend Eastern!
Am I required to attend both Fast Track and First Four?
Yes. Attending both Fast Track and First Four is vital to ensuring your successful transition to EMU! If you live too far from campus to attend Fast Track in person, call 734.487.6453 and we’ll gladly set up an alternate way for you to participate.
Should parents/family attend?
Yes! Our family programs provide valuable information regarding financial, business, academic and community support resources, as well as guidance to help prepare for the transition to college, including changing relationships, family expectations, and student development during the college years.
What do I need to bring to Fusion: New Student Orientation?
- A government-issued photo ID.
