Newly Approved Courses and Course Changes to the General Education Program

 

 

Section I: Effective Communication

WRTG 121 Composition II: Writing the College Experience approved as of W14 (Was ENGL 121)

 

Section II: Quantitative Reasoning

MATH 112 Topics in Pre-calculus Mathematics approved as of W14 (Student must qualify for QR Choice)

 

Section IV: Knowledge of the Disciplines

 

Area II: Humanities

HIST 109 World History to 1500 approved as of W14

The following changes are in the late stages of approval and are expected to take effect by Fall 2014.

FRNH 122 Beginning French I is now 4 credit hours, instead of 5.

SPNH 121 Beginning Spanish I is now 4 credit hours, instead of 5.

SPNH 122 Beginning Spanish II is now 4 credit hours, instead of 5.

SPNH 201 Intermediate Spanish I will become SPNH 233 and will be 3 credit hours instead of 4.

SPNH 202 Intermediate Spanish II will become SPNH 234 and will be 3 credit hours instead of 4.
