Criteria for Admission:

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution, with a minimum 2.5 GPA
• Interview with the Director of Gerontology Program or Coordinator of the Certificate in Dementia
• Acceptance to the EMU Graduate School-master's degree intent not required

To Begin the Admissions Process:

• Submit an application for Graduate Admission with applicant fee to the Eastern Michigan University Graduate School (may be submitted online: www.emich.edu/admissions/apply/)Submit official transcript of schools you have previously attended
• Arrange for an interview appointment with either:
  • Director of Gerontology Program, Elizabeth Schuster - eschuster@emich.edu or
  • Coordinator of the Certificate in Dementia, Jo Campbell - jcambell2@emich.edu
