The Gerontology Program Student Organization (GPSO)
The Gerontology Program Student Organization (GPSO) meets once a month, September to April. As a member of the GPSO, you will meet other students who share an interest in the study of aging; network with gerontology professionals; explore career options; and participate in creative activities that may not be available through the regular academic experience.
The GPSO is involved in various activities including helping to plan the annual Gerontology Spring Lecture, participating in community service activities, attending state and national conferences together, participating in field trips to innovative programs, developing ideas for recruiting new students to the program, fund raising; and providing input on gerontology program curriculum development.
