How does it work? (from GoodSearch FAQ page)
Where does the money come from? (from GoodSearch FAQ page)Search engines make most of their money from companies that pay an advertising fee when users click on links during a search. At GoodSearch, we've developed a patent-pending way to track and direct these search-generated proceeds to charities. In other words, a portion of advertiser dollars (and not your own!) earned as a result of your search, are now passed along to the organization you've chosen to support. How can I use GoodSearch to raise money for the Eagles Nest Project?
Please do not abuse this fundraising tactic through overclicking just to raise money. It could result in our cause being removed from the list. For more information on rules, regulations, and information about GoodSearch and its supporting charities, check out GoodSearch help pages, with links found on the bottom of the main page. GoodSearch is a third party organization that is not affiliated in any way with Eastern Michigan University, the VISION office, Habitat for Humanity, or the Eagles Nest Project.
