- Two study rooms on the second floor of the Library (205M, 205N)
can be "checked
out" by tenure-track faculty on a daily, first-come, first-served
basis. Interested faculty can sign-in in the Library's Client Services
Office (Room 116), and in exchange for their Eagle Card will be given
a key to one of the study rooms for the remainder of the day. Upon
return of the room key their Eagle Card will be returned to them.
- Ten study rooms on the second and third floors of the Library (214B,
214C, 214D, 214E, 307E,
307F, 312C, 312D, 312E, and 312F) can be used on a semester basis.
These rooms might be shared by two or more people, depending on demand.
Occupants can renew or return keys
at the end of each semester. To request space in a shared faculty study
room contact Mary Murphy in the Library Administration Office (Room
200) (487-0020 x 2210; Email: mary.murphy@emich.edu).
All these study rooms provide quiet desk space near the stacks. There
are
no computers or phones in the room, but you are welcome to bring your
own. |
