entrance. Remember always to carry your Eagle OneCard to check out
materials
and
to use the Computing
Commons on the Ground Floor and the Multimedia Commons on the First
Floor.
- IS THERE SOME PLACE IN THE LIBRARY WHERE I CAN TAKE A
BREAK?
- Enjoy coffee, cold beverages, light meals, or snacks in the Paradox Cafe
(Room G 12- Ground Floor), open until 2:00 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays
during the Fall and Winter semesters. You can also watch the College
Television Network while you relax.
- WHERE CAN OUR GROUP STUDY TOGETHER?
- There are nearly thirty Collaborative

- Bring your Eagle OneCard to the Computing Commons (Ground Floor).
Windows and Mac workstations are available with staff ready to
help you.
And printing is free.
- WHERE CAN I BUY A COPY CARD?
- For your convenience the Halle Library uses copy cards instead
of currency, eliminating the need for change. Card dispensers
are located on the First
Floor and accept denominations of $1, $5, $10, and $20. A $1
bill buys the reusable card encoded with $0.50 of credit. The card
is good indefinitely.
- WHAT IS THE AUTOMATED RETRIEVAL COLLECTION?
- The Automated Retrieval Collection (ARC) is the Halle Library's
on-site storage system. It currently holds 350,000 items
but is capable of expanding
to 800,000. Titles with copyrights before 1990 and materials not circulating
in the past five years are stored in this system and can be retrieved
through the online Voyager catalog. See the ARC
in action.
