FOIA (Freedom of Information Act)
Request Guidelines

All EMU FOIA requests must go to the University Council, Kenneth McAnders.

There is no written procedure here at EMU to file a FOIA request.  Mr. McAnders suggests that if someone wants to file a FOIA they should simply send a written request to his office and reference the FOIA act.

The turn around time varies.  It could be 5, 7 or 10 days for a response, depending on how they received the request and the amount of information you are requesting.
