RefWorks - MathSciNet
Instructions for Transferring Citations

Save as Text File and Import into RefWorks 

In MathSciNet:

  1. Conduct a search and save citations by clicking the Add to Clipboard button below each citation
  2. Benneth the MathSciNet logo at the upper left of the screen, click the View clipboard link
  3. Following Select format:, select Citation (BibTeX) from the drop-down menu
  4. Click the Text button
  5. From your browser's File menu, select Save As. Save your file as a text file (with a .txt extension) to the location of your choice (e.g. desktop)

In RefWorks

  1. Login to your RefWorks database
  2. Select References/Import from the toolbar
  3. Select BibTeX as the Import Filter/Data Source and MathSciNet as the database
  4. Browse to find the text file you saved to your computer
  5. Click Import
  6. Your citation(s) will be imported into the Last Imported Folder. You may now move them into the folder of your choice
