Join Governor Jennifer Granholm, gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Michigan Congressman John Dingell, health care policy expert Dr. Henry Simmons, and EMU’s own health care policy expert Dr. Richard Douglass, as well as other dignitaries, at this important event at EMU’s Convocation Center. Tickets are free, but must be obtained in advance through this web site.
This national health care policy forum represents a collaboration between the National Health Policy Council, the AARP, and the National Coalition on Health Care to create an opportunity for gubernatorial candidates, as well as a panel of health care policy experts, to discuss the future of health care. There are only six such events nationwide, and only one in Michigan.
We expect the event to be well attended by the local and regional community. We believe this event will be a valuable educational, informational and public service opportunity for EMU and our region.
