Interests and Expertise

Dr. Brian Coffey’s primary research interests are in value theory, working on meta-ethical and normative questions about the nature of goodness. Additionally, he is working on some projects in moral theory and applied ethics.

His teaching interests include a wide variety of applied ethics courses (e.g. Medical Ethics, Business Ethics, etc), as well as Social and Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Law, and Logic.
