Welcome to the web site of the Honors College at Eastern Michigan University. The Honors College supports excellent students at every level of their academic careers at EMU. Whether you are at the beginning of your college career or about to embark on the in-depth study of your major, we can help you tailor your studies to include honors work. The benefits will not disappoint. Many of our graduates have gone on to top tier graduate and professional programs, including medical and law school, while others have become business and community leaders.
While the core of the Honors College is academic achievement, outside of the classroom our members are leaders on campus and in the surrounding community. The college fosters a spirit of civic engagement in keeping with our mission to enrich the intellectual, social, and cultural life of the university. As a member of the college you will have the opportunity to participate in cultural excursions, community service drives, and civic initiatives.
