Career Opportunities

The Michigan School Code requires that health education be provided in all public schools in the state. However, health educators have numerous career options in addition to these K-12 settings. Health educators work on college and university campuses, community and voluntary health organizations, government agencies and public health departments, health care settings such as clinics and hospitals, and in companies that provide worksite health promotion programs for their employees.

The Master of Science in Health Education has been designed to provide an abundance of graduate-level courses and professional experiences to enhance your readiness and level of employability.

Evening Classes

Classes are scheduled and designed specifically for the working adult. Courses are held on weekday evenings and it is possible to complete the program in two years.
