Electronic Performance Evaluation System
Attn: AC/AH/AP/CA/PT/PE/CS Employees Performance Evaluations for FY 2015/2016 (7/1/15 – 6/30/16) will be completed electronically.
The performance review evaluates employees on competencies and characteristics that provide the foundation for building a culture at EMU that strives for results, serves our constituencies, and builds successful teams and coalitions within and outside the University.

EMU Competency models identify the core and role-based competencies that are Mission Critical to the success of the University. Core competencies are those competencies that are standardized and desired across all job levels at EMU. Role based competencies are additional essential competencies that may be tailored to one's specific divisional, departmental or individual job requirements/needs.
Eastern Michigan University has three (3) Competency Models that reflect 3 job roles as follows:
- Sr. Administrator/Executive (includes 9 Core Competencies)
- Supervisor/Mgr (9 Core)
- Individual Contributor-no direct reports (includes 5 Core Competencies)
These competency models were identified by key university constituents of all levels across a variety of departments as significant indicators for successful job performance across the University.
