Admission to the post-baccalaureate program in Clinical Research Administration requires only a bachelor’s degree. We have chosen not to limit admission to individuals from specific majors. Individuals who work in the area of Clinical Research Administration come from very diverse areas such as Nursing, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Nutrition, Respiratory Therapy, Rehabilitation Sciences, Medicine, Clinical Psychology, Pharmacy, and Patent Law, only to name a few. The Graduate Admissions Examination (GRE) is not required. Students must submit a 1-2 page statement of career goals along with the Application for Admission. Students with undergraduate grade point averages very close to but under 3.0 or international students with TOEFL scores very close to but under 84 may be accepted conditionally and are required to achieve a grade of B or above in CLRA510, CLRA520 and/or ESLN592.
One may apply for admission to the Program online, by going to http://www.emich.edu/admissions/grad/main/ or by requesting an application from the Graduate School at Eastern Michigan University by calling 1-800-GOTOEMU, 734-487-3060 or by e-mail at GRADUATE.ADMISSIONS@EMICH.EDU.
Students may register for up to six (6) graduate credits without being formally accepted into a graduate program. These credits may later apply to a degree or certificate once the student is accepted into the program. Students who wish to take courses in this manner should register as a Self-improvement Student through EMU Continuing Education. Documentation that a Baccalaureate degree has been earned must be presented prior to registration.
