Scholarly Interests

My scholarly work focuses on exploring the participation of older adults and people with disabilities in daily living. I am particularly interested in applying participatory action research approaches in order to understand the individual and group experiences of participation with the purpose of working with project stakeholders towards systemic change.

Teaching Interests

My teaching interests lie in supporting student learning in developing skills around adult and older adult evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies. I teach under the auspices that my student would take the skills and knowledge from the classroom to use as lifelong learners.
