Our History
Rob Holman
Holman Success Center derives its name from Robert H. Holman, an Eastern Michigan University alumnus. During his time as a student at Eastern, Holman also worked for Discount Tire Company, eventually transferring to the company’s headquarters and being promoted to vice president. With his rigorous work ethic and industrious outlook, he was senior vice president and the chief financial officer of his company upon retirement. Inspired by Bruce T. Halle’s gift to Eastern, Holman made a significant contribution to EMU and the Holman Success Center was subsequently named in his honor.
