Requirements:
- Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher and at least a 3.3 in the subject area in which you wish to tutor
- Professor recommendation is preferred
- Must enjoy working with/helping other students

Job Description & Responsibilities
Description:
- Provide additional, special, or supplemental instruction for EMU students
- Foster independence for students
- Consistently communicate with Tutor Team Leader and Master Tutor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend mandatory paid training sessions
- Attend mandatory bi-weekly meetings with your Tutor Team and Tutor Team Leader and participate in discussions
- Check and respond to messages daily
- Arrive on time and be prepared for your tutoring sessions
- Promote independence in learning
- Personalize instruction
- Help students make connections with additional resources on campus
- Keep records of individual tutoring sessions
- Respect individual differences
- Maintain confidentiality and professional attitude
- Keep your personal contact information on file updated/correct
