Pre-College Programs at Eastern Michigan University

The Pre-College Programs at Holman Success Center are designed to introduce middle and high school students from academically and/or economically disadvantaged backgrounds to the university environment.

Programs highlight the opportunities afforded by a college education, requirements for admission and financial aid, and career pathways for students to explore. We stress the importance of college expectations, study skills, time management, goal setting, and motivation.

Students who participate in Pre-College Programs activities are more likely to complete high school, attend Michigan or national universities, and move into productive and satisfying careers.

Pre-College Programs are organized by the Program Coordinator under the supervision of the Director of the Holman Success Center.

The Program Coordinator can be reached (734) 487-2133 or in Room G-04 Halle Library, Holman Success Center, Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti MI 48197.
