The Internet provides an abundance of free information. However, just because the information is freely available does not mean that it belongs to you. The words, ideas, photos, and work, although online and available, are not yours to keep. Credit must be given and permission must be received when using information from the Web. Learn how to use online information to summarize and organize your own ideas. Explore various online resources that help you cite your sources and create a digital bibliography. Learn how to teach your students about copyrights and using online information.
