The IT Help Desk is receiving reports from several people this morning that their voice mail is full of system generated messages.  IT staff are investigating the issue with AT&T technicians.  More details will be posted here as updates are available.

greenNew Banner Idle Timeout Set this Friday, July 25

On Friday, July 25, IT will be making a change to user-accessed accounts within Banner (INB).  This change is necessary to promote system security and efficient allocation of resources.

Beginning Friday, all end user connections to Oracle databases managed by EMU IT left idle for 60 minutes will have the session automatically terminated and any unsaved changes will be lost.
 
In most cases, those who experience an idle timeout will simply need to reconnect to Banner.  In some circumstances, INB users who experience an idle timeout may need to restart their web browser.
