Purchasing Dell Peripherals

A Dell Premier login is required to purchase peripherals. If you do not have a login, refer to Creating a Dell Premier Login for complete instructions.

Follow these directions to create a Dell Premier quote:

  1. From your browser, navigate to the Division of Information Technology website and click the Getting Help link.

  2. The IT Help Desk page is displayed. Click the Purchasing a Computer link.

  3. The Purchasing a Computer page is displayed. Click the Purchase Dell Peripherals link.

  4. The Please Bookmark This Page! message is temporarily displayed. Wait approximately thirty (30) seconds and you will be forwarded to the Premier Dell site.
    Note: If you are not forwarded to the Premier Dell site within thirty (30) seconds, click the Click here link to be forwarded to the site.
  5. The Premier Login page is displayed. Type your E-mail address and Password in the designated fields.
  6. Click the Sign In button.
    Note: If you don't remember your password, click the Forgot Password link. Type your registered E-mail address at the prompt and click Continue. You will receive an email message from Dell with a link for changing your password.

  7. Select an Access Group using the drop-down arrow. Use Eastern Michigan University (Software and Peripherals) for peripheral purchases (docking station, RAM, keyboard, hard drive, monitor).
  8. Click the Sign In button.

  9. The Premier Welcome page is displayed. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
  10. Click Parts & Upgrades to purchase accessories.
    Note: Purchase of non-standard computer models and Pcard computer purchases must be pre-approved by the Director of Enterprise Support. For additional information, please contact Andrea Tanner via email at atanner1@emich.edu.

  11. The Parts & Upgrades page is displayed. Click the PC Accessories link.

  12. The PC Accessories page is displayed. Click a link for the desired Accessory Type.

  13. Locate the desired accessory and click the Add to Cart button.

  14. A Confirmation Message is displayed. Click the Proceed to Cart & Checkout button. The cart is displayed.

  15. Click the Checkout button.

  16. Complete the Contact Information section of the form.

  17. Complete the Ship To section of the form.

  18. Select a Shipping Option.
  19. Click the radio button next to I WILL NOT export under Trade Compliance options. 
  20. Click the Continue button.

  21. Review the order details to ensure that no sales tax is applied to your order.
  22. Enter your Payment Card (PCard) information and complete your order.
