GOATPAD - Verifying Third Party ID Creation

Use the Third Party Access Audit form (GOATPAD) to determine if/when the My.Emich username (Third Party ID) was created. If the ID has been created and exported to My.Emich, the PIN may need to be re-enabled. See Re-Enabling a My.Emich PIN for more information.

Note: If new student or staff member cannot log activate their My.Emich username and password, it is because their Third Party ID (My.Emich username) has not been exported from Banner to My.Emich. 

The Third Party ID Export Schedule:

  • Students: Daily at 6:45am, 11:45am, 4:45pm, and 9:45pm
  • Staff (including Faculty): Overnight

Follow these directions to view information in GOATPAD:

  1. From the Banner Main menu, type the form name in the Go To... box press the [Enter] key on the keyboard.

  2. The form is displayed. If necessary, search for the person. See Searching for a Person by ID or Name for more information.

  3. Click the Next Block button on the toolbar.

  4. The first information block is populated with Third Party ID information.
    Note: Verify the My.Emich username is listed in the Third Party ID field and the Activity Date field contains a date that is earlier than today's date. If the date is today and the student or staff member cannot log in to My.Emich, they may need to wait until the next scheduled export time.   5. When you are finished, click the Exit button on the toolbar to return to the Banner Main menu.
