ResNet is the university's residence hall network service. It uses dedicated ethernet wiring to connect students to the university network and the internet. It works much like a DSL or cable modem and is supported by the Help Desk.

Resnet Rules
The University has a responsibility to both ResNet users and the greater internet community to protect them from each other. These rules are meant to help educate, inform, and provide a basis for good Net-etiquette.
Rules Violation Policy
In order to fully comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), federal and local laws, and Resnet rules, EMU established a procedure for resolving complaints and/or allegations against students using Resnet if a violation should occur.
