MAC Defender

This malware is designed for Mac OSX systems. When browsing an infected page, a user will be prompted to install an antivirus application. When complete, the user will see a window that looks much like the following image:

This malware will claim to find viruses on your system and ask for credit card information to unlock the full version. This software does not perform any checking or removal of malware; the credit card information is sent to an unknown source.
