Updating Your Password Management Profile

You can specify an alternate email address in your account profile. Your alternate email address is used when you are Resetting a Forgotten My.Emich Password.

Follow these directions to add or change the alternate email address in your profile:

  1. From your browser, navigate to the Account/Password Management login page at https://account.emich.edu.
  2. The Password Management Log in page is displayed.
  3. Enter your my.emich username in the Username field.
  4. Enter your password in the Password field.
  5. Click the Login button.

  6. The Main Menu page is displayed.
  7. Click the Update Profile button.

  8. The Update Profile description page is displayed.
  9. Review the alternate email examples and click to place a checkmark in the I Agree checkbox.
  10. Click the Continue button.

  12. The Update Profile page is displayed.
  13. Type your alternate email address (not your My.Emich email address) in the Alt Email Address field.
  14. Click the Update button.

  16. The Profile Update Confirmation page is displayed.
  17. Click the Continue button.

  18. The Main Menu page is displayed.
  19. Click the Logout button to exit the Password Management application.
